Late Registration Opens May 16, 2011 – May 25, 2011 $35 per entry
Late Registration will also be available on
Friday May 27, 2011 5- 8PM at Adams Cyclery and
May 28, 2011 at Pulaski Road School starting at 7AM.

Hello- Great event today! Everyone seemed to enjoy the day, although the reason for it is not a happy one. It is wonderful that your family has been able to take something negative and make something positive from it. You should all be commended for that.
I think it is wonderful that this event, as a side benefit, gets families with children of all ages out there to enjoy some time together doing and promoting a healthy activity. My sons Marc (troop 52 organizer) and Kevin (also troop 52) worked the event. My youngest Jason (7) and I did the fun run. I also saw many other entire families from our community working/running or a combination thereof. We all took some time to remember the heroes who have been lost by spending time with the family and friends that we have with us. We are all so busy, that we sometimes forget to reflect on days like Memorial Day and we don’t always take the time to enjoy our family and friends. Having lost my husband to leukemia at 41, I value family time more than ever and was happy to be able to run with my youngest son and see my older boys working the event.

I just wanted to check in & say hi. It was an honor to run in the “I did the grid” race. It was a lot of fun & a great way to pay respect for heros like your son. I will attend the race every year it is given. I hope that you got a great turn out…sure seemed like a lot of folks! Next year I hope to get more guys from work involved. I hope the donation my precinct gave was a start & next year we can get more. Please keep me informed about any other events. God bless & hope to hear from you soon.
